Strengths focused on during the application process have only been built upon since receiving the honor.

Incorporating technology into instruction has become a notable feature at Seton Catholic School. The middle school program is thriving as a one-to-one school, where students have the advantage of having their own laptop or iPad. Benefits include students being challenged and engaged by technology, while having the most current content available at their finger tips.

In 2013, the STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) was introduced. Kindergarten through eighth grade benefit from this program, which focuses on creating critical thinkers, increasing science literacy, and engaging the next generation of innovators.

Seton has embraced the national Common Core Standards. The standards are designed to be robust and relevant to the real world, reflecting the knowledge and skills that our young people will need for success in college and careers.

Perhaps most importantly, Seton Catholic School provides a faith based learning climate that promotes peace. As an official PeaceBuilders school, the students, faculty and staff at Seton work together to create a safe environment for learning. Emphasis is placed on praising others for positive actions, and helping others not only at school, but at home, and in the community.
